Summer is the perfect time for curious and energetic students to try new things. In 2025, the Steward Summer Experience is offering more than 150 full-day, half-day, and single-session summer camps (plus lunch, early drop-off, and extended-day care) for children in grades JK-12.
Old favorites are back and new camps have arrived! Our selection includes academics, athletics, arts, innovation, and traditional camps. Shoot hoops with a state championship coach, whip up your favorite culinary creation in our professional teaching kitchen, or make jewelry with a professional designer! Our flexible model allows each family to plan the best possible summer for their needs. Whether morning or afternoon sessions only or full days in camp, each parent can plan an engaging and enriching schedule for their camper. We’re proud that our camps draw students from throughout the greater Richmond area; at least 50% of our campers attend other schools during the school year, and we love welcoming them to our conveniently located campus!

Join the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth this summer for rigorous, fresh, and fun in-person academic programs held at 10 locations in California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. CTY's three-week day and residential programs for advanced learners in grades 2-12 offer 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus social activities like talent shows and dances.
